New Madoka Magica Show Considered After 3rd Film
News from here:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-10-16/new-madoka-magica-show-considered-after-3rd-film
Wow, Madoka is definitely like the shoujo series of the moment, in spite of what flaws nitpickers (like myself) still find with it. Would be interesting to see how this turns out.

2012 Utena / Penguindrum Fanfic – Seinen Kakumei Utena, Part Ten
Seinen Kakumei Utena (it's Seinen, NOT Josei), crossing with Penguindrum starting Part 2
Rating: T for mature and sensitive subject matters.
Timeline: 10 years post Revolution, a few weeks post Fate Train Transfer
Notable "Mysteries" Covered: Nemuro Hall, Child Broiler, Million Swords, Fate Train, Shadow Girls, Invisible People
Summary (or rather, Excerpt): “The revolution succeeded; it crumbled afterwards only because those whose lives got revolutionized did not follow up on the revolutionary success,” said the Bride, her words setting their closed hearts aflame. “This time, will you help us help you?”
After what seems like an eternity of non-fic writing, I have again written something in tribute of this timeless shoujo anime classic. This is a work dedicated to the passionate, wonderful people at In the Rose Garden (fic thread here), which even now remains the coolest place for Utena fans to hang out online.

PENGUINBEAR . . . . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think everyone and their dog know by now that genius anime director Ikuhara Kunihiko had since announced his new project (via his usual stealth, near-trollish way):
As a fan of Utena AND Penguindrum, I will keep everyone posted with new finds regarding this Penguinbear Project. For now, I leave you the link to the Penguinbear thread at In the Rose Garden, which is regularly updated with relevant news and info of this little gem:
More to come when Ikuhara is to release more info!
(above image - which might or might not be Penguinbear's concept art - found on Tumblr)

Helter Skelter 2012 Movie Trailer
After a five year hiatus, Sawajiri Erika is now making a dramatic comeback playing Ririko in Helter Skelter 2012, a movie currently making considerable waves in Japan by way of Sawajiri's supposedly explicit nude scenes (North American Audiences will no doubt find it mild rather than risque). The Chinese subbed youtube trailer as follows:
